Please read this notice carefully. It explains how Result Forum collects, uses, protects and shares information when the platform is used.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These terms apply to the Result Forum™ website and services. By using the platform, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy, together with any additional terms supplied by your institution. Do not use the service if you do not agree.
If you use the platform for a school, college or other institution, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf to the extent of your authority.
2. Service and limits of authority
Result Forum is a digital platform that helps institutions control the results lifecycle: entering, submitting, reviewing, approving, publishing and verifying records. It is not an examination body or admissions authority and does not replace the policies or authority of an institution, NECTA, NACTVET, TCU or another relevant authority.
The relevant institution remains responsible for the legality, accuracy and publication of the official records it controls. A draft or submitted state is not the same as an officially approved and published result.
3. Accounts, identity and access
Provide accurate information and use the account assigned to you. Keep passwords, PINs and verification codes confidential; do not share accounts or impersonate another person. If you believe your account was used without permission, report it promptly and take steps to secure it.
Student, parent/guardian and staff access depends on verified identity and an authorised role. Do not try to view records outside your role or use a verification code to access information in an unauthorised way.
4. Official results and record changes
The institution's workflow and approvals determine when results become official within the system. Users must not bypass stages, change marks, fabricate documents or present a draft as an officially published record.
If you find an error, use your institution's correction/review process. Result Forum does not guarantee that institution-submitted information is correct and does not replace confirmation from an official education or examination authority.
5. Permitted and prohibited use
You agree to use the service for lawful educational purposes and according to your role. You must not:
- Access or attempt to access an account, data, server, API or system area without permission.
- Bypass access controls, disrupt the service, distribute malicious software, interfere with data or attempt to expose confidential information.
- Forge marks, certificates, verification codes, identities, approvals or audit history.
- Bulk-collect, copy, publish or sell personal information or academic records without authority and a lawful basis.
- Send fraudulent messages, threats, unlawful content or material that violates privacy, the rights of others or the law.
- Use AI to attack systems, make unauthorised final decisions or submit sensitive data without authority.
6. Public verification
The verification feature may allow anyone to enter a code without signing in. A person using a code may see the information the relevant record is configured to display. Treat a result-verification code as sensitive and share it only for its intended purpose.
Verification shows a record held in the system; it does not guarantee anything beyond the scope of that check or replace confirmation from the institution or relevant authority.
7. AI, analytics and third-party services
AI features are assistive and may produce incorrect, outdated or incomplete responses. Check important claims against official sources. AI cannot approve or publish official results in place of authorised staff.
Some services depend on technical providers. Using an AI feature may send your prompt and necessary context to the connected provider. Do not submit confidential information, passwords or unnecessary personal data. Further information appears in the Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual property and submitted content
The Result Forum design, brand, software and content are owned or licensed by their respective rights holders. These terms do not grant a right to use trademarks, copy software or redistribute content in a manner prohibited by law.
When submitting information, documents or feedback, you confirm that you are authorised to submit them and that their use for the service will not infringe another person's rights. Institutions must ensure they have the authority and permissions required for the records they upload.
9. Availability and security measures
We may maintain, modify or discontinue part of the service for maintenance, security, legal or improvement reasons. We will seek to limit disruption, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.
We may restrict or suspend an account where needed to protect users, records, the system or legal compliance. Actions affecting official records should follow the institution's process and applicable law.
10. Warranties and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided according to its current state and available information; we do not promise every response, submitted record or service interval will be error-free. Do not rely on the platform alone for a decision that requires official confirmation.
Nothing in these terms is intended to remove a right or obligation that cannot be excluded under mandatory Tanzanian law. Claims and responsibility are assessed under applicable law and the circumstances of the event.
11. Governing law, changes and notices
These terms are interpreted with reference to applicable laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, including laws relating to personal-data protection, cybercrime and electronic transactions. Disputes will be handled by a competent authority under applicable law.
We may update these terms as the service or law changes. The last-updated date appears above. For official-record issues, contact your institution administrator; while signed in, you can also use Profile → Feedback for platform or security concerns.
